Applause! Magazine is a regional
cultural publication serving the west central coast of
Florida.
After
an initial meeting, Springboard recognized that Applause!
Magazine was entering a crowded marketplace for publications
and could gain a competitive edge by completing target market
and competitive research. Springboard completed the research
studies, the findings of which enabled Applause! to differentiate
its content from other magazines and identify the editorial
mix that appealed most to target readers. After the direction
of the magazine was set, Springboard became the publication’s
